The Trips tab is where you add, edit and view the itineraries for your trips.
As you can see here, a couple of trips have been imported using a TripIt account.
To sync with TripIt, simply shake your iPhone or iPod touch (requires iPhone OS 3.0) and Travel Assistant Pro will sync with TripIt using an Edge/3G/WiFi connection.
Shake from the main Trips tab to sync all trips.
Shake from any Trip detail screen to sync that trip only.
Shake from any flight detail screen to check latest flight info and status for that specific event.
When you go into the trip detail, you can see the events that have been added to the itinerary.
You can also email the itinerary from this screen. Using iPhone OS 3.0, you can now email in-app and don't have to re-launch Travel Assistant after sending.
Scroll down the trip detail list to see all of the events that have been entered.
Scrolling down, you can see that a hotel stay has also been added.
Tapping Edit at the top of the screen pulls up the Add Event box. Tap whichever one you want and it will bring up another screen where you can add more details about the event.
Here you can see the flight details for this trip. If you have a TripIt Pro account, you can sync with TripIt as your flight time approaches and check for status, delays, gate information and baggage claim details.
One of the many great features of this app is that several key pieces of information needed during a trip are displayed full screen when you rotate the device.
An example of this is shown in the next screen shot.
Check-in made easy! Just rotate the device.
Rewards account numbers and balances can be kept in one tab. No need to carry multiple plastic cards with you when you travel or miss collecting some points when you don't have your card with you.
The next few screens will show an airline reward account example.
For each rewards company, you can maintain multiple rewards accounts numbers. This is really useful for storing numbers for other family members, colleagues etc.
Here you can see that two accounts for the same rewards program company have been added.
In the account information screen you can store current points balances, status etc. Then each time you earn more points you can update the balance.
No need to be hunting for last months statement when you want to use the points and can't remember how many you have.
If you want to show someone your number, just rotate the device and it is presented full screen.
Travel Log is a handy place to keep notes from, and for, your travels. It is completely customizable; create you own categories & edit them as needed.
Keep notes on the seats you prefer on a flight (or the ones to avoid!), your favorite restaurant in a city you travel to, passport details in case you lose your passport or simply don't want to dig it out of your bag when you're filling out an immigration form.
What was the name of that restaurant again? The one we went to in the Bay Area last time we were there?
Store any and all the of the details that you want to.
If you're using Travel Assistant Pro version 3.0, you can store your current location using Location Services in iPhone OS 3.0
Just tap "Current Location" and your current location address will be added to the Log entry.
Fully customizable lists in one tab of the app. Create them and use them when you need them.
Check them off as you go.
Double tap any item to disable it for a while. Double tap again to re-enable it.
Shake the device to clear all the checked items. (Requires iPhone OS 3.0)
Edit the list to add, delete or re-order the list entries.
You can edit the group names too. It's your list.
Settings tab is where you can set or change the name of the primary user of the app and several other app options, including authorizing and set-up of your TripIt account.
If you have questions or feedback, you can send an email via the About screen, or just come back and visit nodconcept.com
